Check out the latest Gameplay Trailer below:
Aztecs: The Last Sun is a city builder set between the 13th and 16th centuries CE. In it, you will step into the shoes of an Aztec leader who is trying to build the city-state of Tenochtitlan. Soon after starting the game, you will see how the game transcends into the classic historical city builder elements. As you expand your city, you will need to make tough decisions that will leave a critical impact on your reputation as a leader. You will need to keep a balance between your leadership status and your people’s well-being.
Apart from city building, you will also need to fight for your own and your people’s survival. During the day, you will expand your city and manage it, but once night falls, the Moon Goddess will unleash her wrath on you. She will attack the city, and only the shielded bloodzone can withstand her fury, but your settlement must have enough blood stored to maintain it throughout the night. If the blood goes out, the shield falls, and your city becomes vulnerable to the incoming attacks.
Aztecs: The Last Sun is slated for a PC Steam release on August 28, 2025, in Early Access. A Steam page is now live for the game, where you can add the game to your wishlist ahead of its upcoming release.
