After staying in the shadows for a long time, GSC Game World is ending the year 2022 on a high note with a brand new trailer for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The latest trailer is called ‘Come to Me’ and it features footage from both cutscenes and gameplay and gives a better understanding of the adventure beyond. STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl features a huge, borderless open-world, and non-linear story and we are expecting it to be released in 2023.

GSC Game World lists 2022 as one of their hardest years because of the ongoing Ukraine-Russia war and because of this, a lot of gaming developers based in Ukraine have suffered massively including Frogwares. Despite all the hardships, GSC Game World is continuing work on STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl and aims at releasing the game on PC and Xbox Series X|S in 2023. The game will be also available on Xbox Game Pass day one and pre-orders are now open for the game on the official website along with Steam and GOG.
If you do not know, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is the latest title in the legendary series that fans have been waiting for for a long time. The game combines first-person shooter, immersive sim, and horror into one game with an unprecedented scale, advanced graphics, freedom of choice, and a deadly environment. The game is set in The Zone, an area of exclusion around the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant which is full of radiation, mutants, and anomalies.
Despite all of this, bounty hunters dwell deep into this zone and are always looking for treasures and solving its very mysteries. These people are called Stalkers and you will be in the game as well. The first title in the franchise STALKER: Shadow of Chornobyl was released back in 2007 and was critically acclaimed by fans and critics alike. The second title in the franchise builds upon the success of the first game and it has been in development for a long time as well. However, despite all the wait, it seems like 2023 is finally going to be the year in which STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is finally released for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
