Spider-Man Gets the Highly Requested Raimi Suit for Free

Raimi Suit

What is deemed by some as the worst Spider-Man suit has now been added into the game by Insomniac following many requests by fans to see it in the game. The Spider-Man Raimi Suit is now added in the game, and that too for free.

In the newest update of the PS4 game, Sony and Insomniac has included the suit from the Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man movies, in which Peter Parker was played by Toby Maguire.

For some, this may be great news if they have grown up watching the movies, and get to experience the Spidey outfit of the Toby Maguire movies. The outfit comes free, so there should be no complaining either.

Both Sony and Insomniac Games announced the addition of the suit in tweets from their own accounts.

The Raimi suit was highly requested amid outcries for the suit to be included into the game. Fans were hoping that the third chapter of the DLC would finally have them seeing the suit in the latest Spider-Man game. However, no suit showed up and left fans upset.

Insomniac replied to the complaints by responding to a series of tweets,

Listening doesn’t mean we always will do what people tell us to do. We hear you. Hearing doesn’t mean always act or follow.

But in a turn of surprising events, Community Direct, James Stevenson tweeted,

Just know things take a LONG time sometimes (months and months!) and even then go down to the literal wire. We obviously never stopped listening.

The addition of the suit has definitely pleased many fans, if not some. Insomniac and Sony may have given a lot of Spider-Man fans an early Christmas present in  the form of their beloved Raimi Spider-Man Suit.

The next big DLC, named Silver Lining of Spider-Man on PlayStation 4 is going to be available from tomorrow 21 December, and will bring the end of the story of City That Never Sleeps.
