Rockstar Games has kicked off its biggest GTA Online sale to date for Independence Day, featuring a free Lago Zancudo Bunker property, steep discounts across dozens of vehicles, and a run of double and triple reward events across multiple game modes.
Every player jumping into GTA Online during the event period can claim a free Bunker. Players can claim the Lago Zancudo Bunker at no cost through Maze Bank Foreclosures until July 13. Anyone who’d rather set up shop somewhere else can skip the freebie and instead grab 40% off every other Bunker property, along with all Bunker Upgrades and Modifications, during the same window.
Biggest Sale Yet
The wider sale spans aircraft, weaponized vehicles, and a long list of sports and muscle cars. Big-ticket items include the Mammoth Avenger, discounted over GTA$2,400,000 at Warstock and capable of being outfitted with an Operations Terminal to support Los Santos Angels’ Project Overthrow and LSA Operations. The Mobile Operations Center is down 60%, saving players over GTA$800,000, while the Declasse Scramjet (Super) is also 60% off. Rounding out the bigger discounts are the Übermacht Sentinel GTS at 50% off and the Pegassi Tezeract at 60% off.
Patriotic Freebies and Discounted Gear
Players can pick up a free Firework Launcher from Ammu-Nation and the Gun Van, along with a free High-End Garage through July 13. A batch of patriotic cosmetics is also discounted 40%, including Patriotic Tire Smoke, Star Spangled Banner Horns, ‘Stars n Stripes’ Face Paint, the Mullet Hairstyle, the Patriot Chute Parachute and its matching smoke trail, Independence Day liveries for Mk II Weapons and the Mobile Operations Center, and a set of Independence Day-themed clothing, masks, and outfits.
Bonus GTA$ on Shark Cards
Ahead of The Kortz Center Heist, Rockstar is offering a 40% bonus on GTA$ for players who link their Rockstar Games account and opt in by July 22. The bonus applies to purchases of up to five Great White Shark, Whale, or Megalodon Shark Cards made through August 5. GTA+ Members get an extra kick on top of that, with a 15% bonus on Member Shark Cards applied to the total bonus GTA$ earned.
Bunker, Stunt Race, and Community Series Bonuses
Bunker operators get Double Rewards on Sell Missions all week, along with doubled Research Speeds and 2X GTA, RP, and Research Progress on Bunker Research Missions via Agent 14. Completing three Bunker Research Missions this week also unlocks the Blue Jock Cranley Jumpsuit and GTA$100,000 as a Weekly Challenge reward. Excess weapon parts can be sold off through the Ammu-Nation Contract for 2X GTA and RP.
The Stunt Race Series is paying out Triple Rewards through July 13, and Running Back (Remix) is back in the Featured Series with 2X GTA$ and RP. Business Battles are dropping a set of themed cosmetics too, including the Pißwasser, Benedict, Patriot, and Supa Wet Beer Hats, plus the Statue of Happiness T-Shirt. Meanwhile, a special mixed-genre Community Series, featuring Rally Races, Western-style quickdraw duels, and a Musket Deathmatch, is paying Double Rewards through July 13.
Fine Art Collector Program Wrapping Up
The Fine Art Collector program closes out next week, and logging in before July 13 grants Enthusiast status along with a free Benefactor Turreted Limo and a one-time GTA$500,000 bonus within 72 hours. Completing any Heist bumps players to Patron Tier, adding a GTA$1,000,000 bonus and a NOOSE Outfit. Mansion owners who log in before July 13 qualify for Elitist status, unlocking a GTA$1,000,000 discount on the Art Studio Mansion upgrade, a free Annihilator Stealth helicopter, a Sculpture, and the chance to unlock a unique Painting, all tied to the upcoming Kortz Center Heist.
Rockstar also noted ongoing work on general improvements and anti-cheat efforts, including a new partnership with Modulate aimed at cracking down on abusive voice chat, with more experience improvements expected when The Kortz Center Heist launches later this month.
