Rage 2 Launch Trailer is Full of Action and Mayhem, Game Out Next Week

Bethesda Softworks has released the launch trailer of Rage 2 ahead of the game’s launch next week on May 14. The trailer is full of action, violence, swearing and also a recap of the previous game in the series.

The trailer features the final boss, General Cross, who is a maniac cyborg, and it also shows some cool giant sandworms that you have to look out too. Though the highlight is the comedic short about the game’s history. Take a look at the trailer below:

Rage is an upcoming wacky and action-filled comedic shooting game, well according to its launch trailer at least. There is a lot of excessive swearing and several retro-futuristic fashion items, plus lots of violence that shows a lot of blood. In addition, it also hints at what things are to come, and what fans can expect to form the gameplay and the story of Rage 2.

The official synopsis of  Rage 2 details that an asteroid has annihilated 80% of the earth’s population, and humanity’s numbers are dwindling. Ruthless and bloodthirsty gangs roam the open roads and the tyrannical Authority seek to rule with an iron fist. As Walker, the last Ranger of the wasteland and a threat to their power, you have been robbed of your home and left for dead.

Now you’ll have to rage for justice and freedom. With ludicrous vehicle combat, super-powered first-person mayhem, and an open world full of emergent madness, you will tear across an unforgiving wasteland battling sadistic gangs to find the tools and tech needed to crush the oppressive rule of The Authority once and for all.
