Toxic Games has announced to bring QUBE 10th Anniversary on PC and consoles next week on 14 September 2022. The game is completely brand new thanks to the complete rebuild of the decade-old game from the ground up.
The game will launch across Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox Series X|S next week, while the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch versions will follow a day later on 15 September 2022.
Watch the game’s trailer below.
The rebuilt version of the game will bring refined visuals and, in some places, completely redesigned and revised sections to all of the content that launched in both the original game in 2014’s QUBE: Director’s Cut, which itself added a completely new story by award-winning writer Rob Yescombe.
The new trailer of the game showcases the visual differences between the original and the 10th Anniversary version, but also features new content like the entirely brand new chapter called Sector 8. This new chapter adds 4-6 hours of gameplay and is unlocked after the main campaign of the game.
Talking about the game, Dave Hall the creative director had this to say,
We set out to make sure Q.U.B.E. 10th Anniversary serves as the ultimate celebration of the series’ ten-year run. Though this new trailer casts the spotlight on the new reenvisioned visuals, this isn’t a case of serving up the same game in brand new clothes. We’ve completely reimagined Q.U.B.E.’s world to offer fans – both new and old – an entirely fresh way to play.
