The Baby Fairy Pokémon Cleffa makes its return in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. This Pokemon is shy and doesn’t like staying around other wild species, which makes it harder to catch in the city’s Wild Zones. How to Get Cleffa in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

Cleffa appears only when the sky is Clear or on Sunny Days. The Cleffa can be found on the rooftops of Rouge Sector 5, specifically on the roof of the Looker Bureau. It usually spawns between levels 11 and 13, which means you can catch it very early in the game.

Cleffa evolves into Clefairy, then into Clefable, and finally Clefable can Mega Evolve into Mega Clefable. It is a new evolution type introduced in Legends: Z-A.

How to Evolve Cleffa in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

Cleffa is not very strong in battles. So, if you want to use Cleffa for battles, you will need to evolve it into Clefairy to make it more useful. The following are the steps you need to evolve your Cleffa:

1. Place Cleffa in the active slot of your Party.
2. Visit any Cafe or Tea Shop and order a cup of tea. Roserade Tea works best.
3. Wait for a few seconds, then press B to stop drinking tea with Cleffa.
4. Open your Party from the menu. If a white arrow appears above Cleffa, it’s ready to evolve. If not, repeat Step 3.
5. After the arrow appears, evolve Cleffa into Clefairy.

How to Evolve Clefairy

After evolving Cleffa into Clefairy, you can further evolve it into Clefable. This can be done by using a Moon Stone. You can buy this stone from the Stone Emporium at Vernal Avenue in Lumiose City.

The following are the steps you need to evolve your Clefairy:

1. Open the menu and then go to the Satchel.
2. Press R to go to the fourth tab and then scroll down to find the Moon Stone.
3. After finding it, select it. If a small green tick appears under Clefairy, that means it is compatible.
4. Drag the Moon Stone over Clefairy to start its evolution into Clefable.

How to Mega Evolve Clefable

Once you’ve reached the latter part of the game, you can Mega Evolve Clefable using Clefablite. This can be bought from Quasartico’s Mega Shard Exchange for 240 Mega Shards. This turns Clefable into Mega Clefable, enhancing it and making it even more powerful in battle.

All three Pokemon in Cleffa’s line are Fairy-type. Once Clefable Mega Evolves into Mega Clefable, it becomes Fairy/Flying-type, gaining an extra useful type and immunity to Ground-type moves.
