Haunter Guide – Pokemon Legends: Z-A
You can catch Gastly in Wild Zone 4 once this area becomes available, as we discussed earlier. Also, they appear even during the day, so you don’t have to skip time by resting on benches.
Once you have a Gastly, you can evolve it into Haunter by reaching level 25. Then you can evolve it into Gengar by trading.
Haunter Guide – How to Evolve
In Pokemon Legends: Z-A, Haunter can evolve into Gengar through trading only. This means you will need to connect online and find another trainer who wants to trade with you. As your Haunter will automatically evolve after being traded, make sure the person you’re trading with is trustworthy and will return your evolved new Gengar to you.
If you don’t have a close friend to trade with, you can still use these Link Codes that other players use for evolution trades. For Haunter, the commonly used Link Code is 0066-0066. This code is used by many players when trading Haunter for evolution.
How to Trade and Evolve Haunter into Gengar
To begin trading, open your game menu and go to the Link Play section. From there, select Link Trade in the top-right corner of the screen. You’ll then see two options to trade: trade with a nearby player or someone far away online.
After choosing the method, the game will ask you to enter an eight-digit Link Code. If you’re trading with a friend, both of you need to use the same code. Always choose a unique and hard code, so that you don’t accidentally match and trade with the wrong person. Always double-check before a trade.
You can further evolve Gengar into a Mega Evolved Pokemon. This can be done easily by buying a Mega Stone from the Stone Emporium at Vernel Avenue for 50,000 Poke Dollars.
