The supposed specs for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060Ti graphics card have leaked online. Videocardz leaked the specifications for the fourth card of the RTX 3000 series card and the specs look quite impressive for the cheapest card of the lineup. According to the leaks, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060Ti will feature the GA104 GPU chip, 4864 CUDA Cores, and 8 GB GDDR6 memory.

So far, NVIDIA has announced three cards for the RTX 3000 series cards which include the GeForce RTX 3090, the GeForce RTX 3080, and the GeForce RTX 3070. But reports suggest that NVIDIA also has a surprise for everyone and plans to release GeForce RTX 3060Ti in late October. This is exactly when AMD plans to release their Radeon 6000 ‘Big Navi’ cards which will be based on the RDNA 2 architecture.

The RTX 3060Ti is said to feature the GA104-200 GPU chip, which is the cut-down variant of the GA104 GPU which is set to be featured in the RTX 3070 card. It is also rumored that the GA104 GPU will only be featured in the RTX 3070 and future RTX 3070Ti and or RTX 3070 Super. According to the leaks, the RTX 3060Ti will feature 38 SMs, 4864 CUDA Cores, 152 Tensor Cores, and 38 RT cores.

The RTX 3060Ti will have the same memory configuration as the RTX 3070, 8GB of non-X GDDR6 memory clocked at 14.0 Gbps which totals 448 GB/s of bus bandwidth. The card will feature a 256-bit bus. NVIDIA has informed AIBs that they plan to release the RTX 3060Ti in the second half of October.

In terms of power consumption, the leaks suggest that the RTX 3060Ti will consume about 40W less than the RTX 3070. That puts the card at around 180W which is a 5W difference compared to the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER’s 175W TDP. However, Videocardz mentions that these figures are from AIB models so we will have to wait to see how the Founder’s edition will perform. It is also expected that the 3060Ti will be powered by a single 8-pin power connector.

As far as price is confirmed, it is rumored that the 3060Ti will drop around the 400$ mark. October will be a very hot month for desktop gamers as AMD is dropping both their Zen 3 based Ryzen 4000 series processors and Radeon 6000 cards. We will have to wait who comes out on top in this fierce competition.
