Publisher Meridiem and developer ChaoticBrain Studios have officially announced the release date for its upcoming title Neon Blood. Neon Blood is a neo-noir cyberpunk RPG and it is slated for release on November 26th, 2024 on PC and consoles. On the same day, physical editions for PS5 and Nintendo Switch will also be available. The game offers a unique 2.5D aesthetic blended with PixelArt 2D sprites with 3D environments to create a visually striking cyberpunk world.
Neon Blood immerses you in the role of Axel McCoin, an idealistic detective determined to ignite a revolution. The game combines turn-based combat with precise Quick Time Events and puzzle-solving, offering you a mix of strategic gameplay and narrative-driven exploration. In this dystopian future, you must help Axel navigate through a dangerous and divided world, fighting for justice in a society riddled with inequality.

Fans of physical editions will be excited by the Limited Edition for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. This special release includes a metallic textured sleeve, an art book, a city guide, and a downloadable soundtrack, offering collectors something truly unique.
The game is set in the year 2053, after the Third World War, where humanity has been reduced to living in a single massive metropolis called Viridis. Viridis is split into two contrasting areas: the affluent Bright City and the downtrodden Blind City. Axel McCoin, hailing from Blind City, is motivated by the stark injustices caused by the division between the two cities. His idealism drives him to challenge the system and lead a revolution against the social inequality that plagues Viridis.
Throughout his journey, Axel will encounter both allies and adversaries. Among his enemies is Ruby Emerald, who will stop at nothing to thwart Axel’s mission. You will experience a rich, dystopian narrative inspired by classic RPGs, complete with turn-based combat that requires both strategy and timing.
The game’s cyberpunk theme is brought to life through its blend of retro pixel art and 3D visuals, capturing the dual realities of the two cities. You can explore the secrets of Viridis through an investigative system driven by dialogue, all set against a backdrop of neon-lit nightscapes.
Pre-orders for Neon Blood are currently live across all platforms, ahead of its release on November 26, 2024. It is slated for release digitally on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The physical editions are limited only on PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
