Developer Disaster Games and publisher Selecta Play have announced the physical launch of Morkull Ragast’s Rage, a 2D action platformer that invites you to embrace its dark side. The game sets the stage for Morkull, the God of Death and Darkness, to escape captivity and pursue his villainous plans. A digital release for PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S is scheduled for January 16.
In Morkull Ragast’s Rage, you control the titular villain, navigating his escape from the mystical world of Ragast. Breaking away from the traditional hero narrative, the game offers a unique perspective by placing you in the role of the antagonist. Morkull is acutely aware that he’s in a video game and frequently breaks the fourth wall, creating a humorous and self-aware journey filled with pop culture nods and witty commentary.
