Million Lords Leagues of Glory

Million Victories is a French-based studio behind Million Lords and has announced today over $1.4M in total funding to support scaling the team and marketing in the coming months. Million Victories started its operations back in 2017 and their first mobile video game Million Lords has already achieved breakthrough metrics in beta test.

Million Victories comprises of a team of experienced entrepreneurs and early-stage tech veterans like Benoit Ducrest and Celine Allary-Espiet. Along with them, the studio also gets contributions from experience game makes such as Antoine Monjon, from Assassin’s Creed, The Crew, and Paul Mafayon, from Hearthstone, World of Warcraft.

The mobile game strategy earned over $4 billion revenue in 2018 however players seeking for a true deep strategic experience have often been forgotten by games like Games of War or Guns of Glory in favor of pay-to-win paired with heavy resource management. On the other hand, Million Lords focuses instead on creating a new segment 100% focused on strategy and a fair PvP experience for every type of gamer.

Million Victories is using a special proprietary server-side technology for Million Lords which enables an unlimited number of users to play online at the same time on the same server. According to the early key metrics for Million Lords, players are spending around 1 hour playing the game daily and generating a revenue per daily active user of over $0.50. This shows that the game focus on delivering a true strategic experience is paying off with gamers.

Benoit Ducrest, CEO of Million Victories said:

It is exciting to go from the idea to re-create a deep strategic experience I experienced on PC when I was younger playing great games like Civilization, Might & Magic or the Total War series, try to bring this passion for strategy into the mobile age and see our early testers love the game.

Thibaut Hanin who is the co-founder of Synthesio(acquired by Ipsos recently said:

As an entrepreneur, I know that when skills and drive are combined, you are bound to encounter a successful venture. I saw both at Million Victories when I met Benoit and Celine and I’m proud to participate in this round of funding.
