Publisher Meridiem Games has announced that it is releasing a limited physical version of War Mongrels for the PS5. The special boxed version will be called Renegade Edition and it will be released in a limited capacity to keep it exclusive. Originally developed and only digitally distributed by Destructive Creations, War Mongrels will be getting a physical release for the first time and fans who love physical collections will be able to add War Mongrels to their collection as well.
War Mongrels is an isometric real-timer tactics game depicting the little-known side of World War II through the eyes of a group of disillusioned refugees struggling to survive on the Eastern Front. Meridiem Games will be designing, manufacturing, and distributing the special boxed edition of War Mongrels in Europe and has created a beautiful Renegade Edition which comes with the game’s soundtrack in digital format, an art book featuring the bio of characters in a specially designed case with exclusive artwork.
War Mongrels lets you explore World War II through a unique perspective that rarely appears in video games. In War Mongrels, you play as a group of disillusioned fugitives who after defecting to the Third Reich, struggle to survive the brutal trials of the Eastern Front of World War II. As they sneak across the war-torn territory, they will confront an evil that challenges not only their values and ideals but all of humanity.
