Tripwire Interactive has announced that its new title Maneater is celebrating Shark Week with a free gift for all players. According to the official press release, all existing and new players of Maneater will get a free Tiger Shark Adaptation for the duration of the Shark Week. The new adaptation is named after the legendary Tiger Shark which is offered referred to as ‘the garbage can of the sea’.
With the new adaptation, players will receive extra nutrients every time they consume prey along with a fancy striped cosmetic upgrade for their shark. The free Tiger Shark Adaptation is now live for all players on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. PC players will need Epic Games Store for playing the game and once they do, they can head over the Grotto and select the Tiger Shark Adaptation under body evolutions.
As for the console players, they can visit their respective stores and download the Tiger Shark Adaptation with paying a single penny. The redemption inside the game is the same for the console players as well. The CEO and co-owner of Tripwire Interactive, John Gibson also announced that the studio is currently working on something ‘extra special’ and will be revealed soon. His official words were:
We couldn’t be happier with the overwhelmingly positive response to Maneater we’ve seen from players around the world. Clearly, people are hungry for more, and while it’s too soon to go into great detail, I can promise that you haven’t seen the last of Maneater – our team is working on something extra special to share with fans.
If you want to grab the game on PC via Epic Games Store, the game is currently at a 25% discount and it will run through August 16, 2020. Maneater is now available on PC via Epic Games Store, PS4, and Xbox One.
