LIAN LI has introduced the EDGE GOLD series power supply, an advanced addition to its T-shaped PSU lineup. Designed for dual-chamber and tower cases, the EDGE GOLD boasts extended cables for seamless installation in larger setups. This fully modular PSU offers a world-first removable USB/PWM expansion hub and a magnetic dust filter for effortless maintenance.
Built with industrial-grade EPCOS capacitors, it guarantees reliable power delivery and complies with ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards. The series is available in black or white for 1200W, 1000W, and 850W models, with the 750W variant available exclusively in black. All models come with a 10-year warranty.
The EDGE GOLD series’ main feature is its removable USB/PWM hub, which centralizes connectivity. This hub can be attached directly to the PSU or positioned inside the case using an 8-pin PCIe interface. Supporting four USB 2.0 headers for up to eight ports and six 4-pin PWM connectors for UNI FAN groups, it delivers a total output of 2.5A for USB and 2A for PWM.
Check out the new trailer showcasing the LIAN LI EDGE GOLD PSU series below:
Equipped with magnets for easy mounting, the hub is included with the 1200W and 1000W models and can also be purchased separately. Additional accessories, such as PWM sync and USB cables, are provided to enhance functionality. This will make it exceptionally easier to connect RGB devices such as fans and controllers. The hub is available separately as well.
Maintaining the T-shape design of the EDGE series, the EDGE GOLD features an outward-facing modular strip for convenient cable management. A removable magnetic dust filter replaces the earlier intake grille, simplifying cleaning while maintaining high airflow efficiency. The 120mm fluid dynamic bearing PWM fan offers a zero RPM mode for silent operation and maximum speeds of up to 2400 RPM for the 1200W model.
Built for durability and performance, the EDGE GOLD utilizes robust EPCOS and Japanese capacitors to withstand harsh conditions. Certifications including 80 PLUS Gold and Cybernetics Gold ensure energy efficiency while providing comprehensive protections such as OCP, OVP, and SCP.
To accommodate higher-end builds, the PSU includes extended braided cables with pre-installed combs for clean routing. Custom SATA power cables further reduce clutter, allowing for a streamlined setup.
