Square Enix has released Kingdom Hearts 3’s Final Trailer which is serving to be an amazing way to hype every fan of the series. The Disney-centric story featured in the trailer shows the gameplay and the battle that is to come.
The trailer sets us up for the final battle of the Kingdom Hearts trilogy with many Disney characters that will be featured in the game. These include Remy from Ratatouille, characters from Toy Story, Frozen, Tangled, Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc. are all to come in the third game of the series.
Towards the end of the trailer is where things start to get darker. Organization XIII can be seen wrecking Sora’s crew, where even Riku is finding it hard to withstand it. We can only speculate if a character is going to die in the fight. But all we can do is wait and see when the game comes out next month.
The loaded Disney themed RPG is hyping to be one of the most anticipated game of 2019, especially considering that the previous game was released 15 years ago.
The trailer was supposed to release a week later from today, but due to some unfortunate events over the weekend seems to have put off the plans of the studio. On Saturday, 15 December, a person on Facebook was selling copes if the long awaited Kingdom Hearts 3. The copies were presumably stolen from a shipping facility and being sold for $100 by this seller.
Following these events, Game director Tetsuya Nomura addressed in a statement the next day that said:
We’re aware that a small portion of Kingdom Hearts III has been circulating online before its official release. We are also aware as to how this has all happened. We’re sorry to see this caused concern amongst our fans who are excited for the release.
The whole team has been working together since yesterday night (Japan time) to investigate what we can do to better this situation, but first we would like to ask that you do not share these videos.
The game’s epilogue and secret movie, which are the biggest spoilers in this game, are planned to be released at a later date just in case, so they will not be shown before the game’s release.
We want everyone to be able to equally experience the full game after its release, so we ask for your continued support on this matter.
We’re also very grateful that our fans have been warning each other already about the spoilers. Thank you very much.
We’re one month out from the release. Let’s enjoy the game together when it releases on January 29, 2019.
– Director Tetsuya Nomura
