NetherRealm Studios has released the gameplay trailer for the upcoming DLC character Joker in Mortal Kombat 11, and we get to see the crazed clown from Gotham in his full glory. Before you jump into our trailer breakdown, check out the trailer below.
Damage 101
From what’s shown till now as a hardcore fan of MK series, The Jokers move set feels like one of those characters that do great damage have set up opportunities, easy launcher and juggle combos. It does feel like people who are into MK11 for a while can easily get onto the Clown Prince’s devastating moves.
Dressed Sharp
Back when the combat pack trailer came out people had a meltdown over how the Joker looked and honestly he did look like a terrible cosplay dude but with the current footage it does give away that Netherrealm studios took what fans said into consideration and worked to give the Joker’s appearance a cosmetic upgrade. He now does look like the evil comical joker, also has a slight resemblance to Arkham joker but could be just me.
MK VS DC Universe
The Joker isn’t coming alone to the MK universe again, he is bringing in Killer Crock, Catwoman, and The Batman Who Laughs! It sounds crazy, right? Well, they are jumping in as alternate skins for Noob, Baraka and Kitana as part of the DC Elseword Pack. How great Baraka looks as Killer Croc is something we all never saw coming.
Society’s A Menace
The stars of this two-minute insane package are hands down his Crushing Blow and that sick Fatality. The crushing blow starts off as a killing joke turning into a kill fest with sickening blows and that knife slit is a straight-up homage to the villain’s history. The fatality here to be honest looks like one of the best 10 fatalities present in-game. Insane and over the top exactly what every joker fan would’ve wanted.
