Indie solo developer Andrew ‘VAGRIENT’ Bray has announced the release date of his upcoming sci-fi adventure game VAGRIENT. VAGRIENT will be released on PC via Steam on March 21, 2025. The announcement was made during the ANZ Indie Showcase: Summer Edition. The game invites you to step into the shoes of Vagrient, an Armlys alien stranded far from home, as he embarks on a mission to restore power to a corrupted warpgate and return to his war-torn clan in another solar system.
In VAGRIENT, you explore a vast solar system filled with mysterious planets, each potentially holding the key to activating the broken warpgate. To progress, Vagrient must unlock and navigate various warpgates, allowing interplanetary travel and further exploration. Along the way, you will encounter hostile entities and must carefully manage their energy output and consumption to survive intense battles.

The game features a mix of action combat and strategic decision-making, requiring you to learn enemy patterns and develop effective tactics, especially during boss fights. Each boss presents unique challenges, encouraging you to adapt and master new skills that enhance both movement and combat capabilities. Beyond combat, you will face a variety of puzzles and obstacles, testing both their problem-solving skills and reflexes as they pursue their ultimate goal.
As the adventure unfolds, Vagrient can acquire new abilities, allowing advanced techniques in both traversal and combat. With a blend of exploration, strategy, and fast-paced action, the game promises a rich and immersive experience filled with surprises to uncover.
