Terraria co-creator Andrew Spinks has announced that the Google Stadia version of Terraria has been canceled after Google shut down all of his accounts. The announcement was made on Twitter where the developer also detailed that he has been trying for over three weeks to recover the accounts, but Google is not responding back.

In his official announcement, Andrew details that his Google Play, Google Drive, YouTube, and Gmail accounts have been locked without any warning or violation. He has been trying to recover the accounts for over three weeks, but he claims that Google has simply ‘given the runaround’ to him with no solid response or account re-activation on any platform. You can check out the official tweets by Andrew Spinks below:

In his tweets, he clearly states that he did not violate any of the rules and regulations but still his accounts were blocked. His Gmail account was over 15 years old while he has lost access to all of his data in Google Drive as well. His Google Play account had apps worth thousands of dollars however he has now lost them all since the account is locked and he cannot recover it. He has been trying for over three weeks in order to recover his accounts.

Google is not off to a great start in the video game industry and their platform Google Stadia is more of a joke at this point. Previously, Google shut down all internal development studios for Stadia leaving over 15 employees without a job and now it is treating third-party developers in such a bad manner. But then again, if you want to play Terraria, it is currently available on over 8 different platforms, so you are not at a loss if Terraria never comes out on Google Stadia.
