Generator Room Key Guide – STALKER 2: Cost of Hope
When you are playing through the Cost of Hope DLC, you will come across a locked door that is connected to the generator room, and the objective will be to find the Generator room key.
The key is to the right of the generator room door and is near enough to be picked up without needing to fulfil any other mission first.
Just turn around from the door, and walk straight.
At the end, take a left turn and go through the back.
Keep following the path and then enter the room with the generator key through its window.
After entering the room, look around, and you will find the Generator Key on a desk. Engage with it to collect it.
After picking up the key, go back to the locked generator room entrance. Now touch the door again and press the key you just found. The objective is linked to the discovery of this object, so if you have this object in your inventory, you can go through the entrance.
The route to get the key is very short, so the solitary rule is to remember that the key is not in an area much further away, but near the door itself. If you’ve already found the generator room but don’t know what to look for next, make sure to inspect the area immediately to the right of the door before going anywhere else.
