Your goal is to follow the taxi, return to Manhattan, and continue searching for the caller named Mila.

The Last Taxi in Central Guide – Control Resonant

Head to the taxi location in the Central region and approach the vehicle. When you try to help, the taxi door will open, allowing you to get inside.

Entering the car will transport you to a strange, yellow-tinted version of Manhattan. Once you arrive, check your minimap for the objective marker and follow it towards a ringing telephone. You can also listen for the phone’s sound to help locate it.

Interact with the pay phone to speak with Mila, the caller you need to help throughout this quest line. After the conversation, your objective will change to get back to Manhattan.

To leave this strange version of Manhattan, you have to identify the correct taxi from a group of vehicles. Pay attention to the lights on each car, as the right choice determines whether you progress to the next stage.

Look for the taxi with its roof light switched on. The other taxis have their roof lights turned off, making this vehicle easy to identify. Get inside the taxi with the illuminated roof light to move to the next stage.

If you enter the wrong vehicle, you will need to repeat the cycle until you can select the correct one. After the first correct choice, you will arrive in another version of the taxi area. The same rule applies here: look for the vehicle with its roof light turned on. This time, choose the taxi positioned at the back right of the group that has the roof light turned on. Entering the correct vehicle will take you to the third stage of the puzzle.

The final stage is more difficult because several taxis have different combinations of lights activated. You need to find the one with all three sets of lights switched on:

Roof light: On
Front lights: On
Brake lights: On

Check the vehicles carefully and compare their lights. Some will have the roof light on but no brake lights, while others will be missing the front lights.

Choose the taxi that has the roof light, front lights, and brake lights illuminated at the same time. Get inside this vehicle to return to the normal version of Manhattan.

Once you’re back in Manhattan, you will be able to speak with Zoe over the radio. However, the overall quest objective won’t be completed yet. It will still ask you to get the caller back to Manhattan.

You’ll need to locate another lost taxi in a different region and complete its encounter to continue the quest line.
