During last night’s State of Play, Warner Bros. games finally revealed Hogwarts Legacy gameplay and it looks to be amazing so far. Hogwarts Legacy is an upcoming RPG set in the wizarding world of the Harry Potter franchise by J.K. Rowling and ever since its reveal, fans have been craving to see the game’s actual gameplay. The new trailer is accompanied by a detailed behind-the-scenes video as well.
Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world, action role-playing game set in the 1800s wizarding world, and Avalanche Studio is behind the development. The new gameplay trailer is narrated and gives us an in-depth look into the gameplay of Hogwarts Legacy including character customization, and the variety of spells, adventures, missions, locations, and characters that will be featured in the game.

Hogwarts Legacy puts the player at the center of their own magical adventure. You join the game as a brand-new fifth year student with a unique ability to manipulate powerful ancient magic. You will live the unwritten and embark on a dangerous journey to uncover a hidden truth of the wizarding world. Hogwarts Legacy was first revealed during the PS5 Showcase back in September 2020 and since then fans have been looking forward to seeing actual gameplay from the title along with additional details. Last year, Warner Bros. Games pushed the title into 2022 however with Sony actually holding a State of Play just for this game, we can look forward to seeing this game releasing this year.
Currently, Hogwarts LKegacy is slated for release Holiday 2022 on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
