CD Projekt Red has announced that its card battler GWENT just received its sixth expansion pack Way of the Witcher. Way of the Witcher is free to download for everyone and players can download and jump in the new expansion right now on PC, iOS, and Android. Way of the Witcher arrives as the sixth expansion for GWENT since its release. The brand-new expansion focuses on the origins of witchers and their creator. If you are a fan of the franchise, then you would already know who created the very first witcher and it was none other than one of the most powerful sorcerers on the Continent – Alzur. With the new expansion, players will get 70 new cards spanning 60 faction-specific ones and 10 neutrals along with powerful fresh abilities and mechanics including Adrenaline that triggers when players have a specific number of less in their hand.
To celebrate the launch of the new expansion, the developer has also launched a variety of limited-time offers featuring Way of the Witcher Premium Kegs and unique ornaments. The unique ornaments also include the Laboratory Border along with the avatar bearing the likeness of Cosimo – Alzur’s teacher and the sorcerer who helped create the first witchers. Additional details about the new content are available via the in-game store and since the expansion is free for everyone, players can download it and jump in the action right away.
Previous expansions for Gwent include Master Mirror and Novigrad which added tons of new content to the game as well. The game was also recently released on Android devices after an iOS release.
