GRIS Wins Best Game Award at BIG Festival 2019, All Winners Revealed

The 7th Edition of BIG Festival, BIG Festival 2019, has concluded in Sao Paulo, Brazil and during its awards ceremony, GRIS won the award of Best Game category. BIG Festival is Latin America’s largest independent games event and the awards ceremony on BIG Festival 2019 took place on June 28 at Club Homs in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

During the awards ceremony, the general public, special guests and game developers were present at the event anticipating the results. The show was stolen by GRIS, developed by Nomada Studio and published by Devolver Digital. It won the most coveted trophies of the night: the Best Game and Best Art of BIG Festival 2019. In total, 54 games took part in the awards ceremony from 22 different countries.

The winners were announced during the ceremony at Club Homs where the President of Ancine, Christan de Castro, the State Secretary of Culture and Creative Economy, Sérgio Sá Leitão; the Municipal Secretary of Culture, Alê Youssef; Spcine’s President, Mr Bodanzky; the Industry and Service Export Manager of Apex Brasil, Maria Paula Velloso; and the president of Abragames, Sandro Manfredini were present.
