Graveyard Keeper 2 Sets September 22 Release Date, Lets Players Build an Undead Army

Graveyard Keeper 2 Release Date

Graveyard Keeper 2 has received a release date, with tinyBuild confirming that the medieval graveyard management sequel will launch on September 22, 2026. The announcement was made during the Future Games Show at gamescom 2026, where a new trailer offered a look at the game’s expanded approach to graveyard management. This time, players won’t just be burying the dead; they can turn corpses into undead minions and put them to work.

Players will manage their own medieval graveyard while harvesting materials from human remains, including hearts, bones, brains, and skin. These resources can be used to build machinery and develop an undead workforce capable of automating various tasks around the operation.

The undead also have a role beyond production, as players can build an army of zombies to defend the realm against the inevitable zombie apocalypse. Alongside managing the graveyard, players can farm food, care for livestock, fish, trade, and complete storylines while helping rebuild a medieval town overrun by the undead.

The sequel also expands the world beyond the graveyard with a larger town featuring different locations to explore. A city map allows players to travel between areas as they work to rebuild the settlement and generate revenue.

Graveyard Keeper 2 retains the series’ dark humor and management-focused gameplay while adding new systems centered around automation and undead workers. Players can harvest flora and human remains, construct increasingly elaborate machinery, and expand their graveyard into a more productive operation.
