Gran Turismo Sport Update Adds 9 New Cars and Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya

An update added by Polphony in its latest Gran Turismo game; Gran Turismo Sport, sees and addition of 9 new cars in the game along with a new track and handful of GT League Events. The update is sized at 2.56GB and is available now for download on your PlayStation 4.

There had not been any update out last month in October, which arised speculations on an early November update. And true to its word, Polyphony teased us with the 9 cars and Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya track.

Gran Turismo Sport – Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Track Details

The update also adds a brand new track into the game, the Circuit de Barcelon-Catalunya, home to the Spanish Grand Prix and known as one of the legendary tracks in the world. The creator of the game, Kazunori Yamauchi said,

The Catalunya Circuit opened in September 1991, in line with the hosting of the Barcelona Olympics, and is located approximately 30km north of Barcelona, Spain. This is one of Spain’s leading race tracks where a variety of races including the F1 Spain Grand Prix is hosted. With a long straight and a large variety of corners, the setting of the car can greatly affect the lap times.

Gran Turismo Sport – New GT League Events

The update comes with additional GT League Events in the game, which is now following a pattern of adding one or two of these events in every update that Polyphony adds to the game. Take a look at the events below:
