Publisher Fellow Traveller and developer Feral Cat Den have announced the release date of their upcoming surreal noir adventure Genesis Noir. Genesis Noir is releasing on March 26, 2021, on PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Epic Games Store. Genesis Noir is a cosmic tale of romance, black holes, and jazz music and now finally has a release date.
Previously, the publisher had only announced the PC release via Steam, GOG, and Humble Bundle along with Xbox One however with the full release date announcement, the game is now coming out on Nintendo Switch and Epic Games Store as well. If you have a Game Pass on Xbox One or PC, you will find the game on your list already without paying a single dime as well when it comes out.
The base game will set you back $14.99 and for PC gamers, the game is also found in the Cosmic Collection which contains the base game, the official soundtrack, a digital artbook ‘An Act of Creation’ and an interactive comic book ‘Moiré Noir’ bundled together for $27.99. If you want to purchase these items separately, you can as well. The original soundtrack is available for $9.99, the digital art book for $6.99, and the digital interactive comic book for $2.99.

Genesis Noir spans time and space when a love triangle between two cosmic beings becomes a bitter confrontation. A jealous god gets involved in the mix and the Big Bang is coming and your goal is to stop it. You will jump into the expanding universe and search for a way to destroy creation and save your love. The game beautifully blends interactive storytelling and generative art into a narrative tale of time, space, and music.
You are a ‘No Man’, a watch peddler, trapped in the deterministic cosmos as you explore black holes, primordial Earth, and jazz cafes. The game is focused on tactile puzzles and exploration and allows you to experiment with objects to discover how they can be manipulated in order to progress in the game. Pre-orders are now live for both the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions of the game and will offer a 20% discount until March 25, 2021. For the launch week, all platforms will offer a 20% discount as well.
