Epic Games Has Released the First Fortnite Season 9 Teaser

Fortnite Season 9 Teaser

With less than a week left for Season 8 to end, Epic Games has released the first teaser image for Fortnite Season 9. The teaser was released by Epic Games on the official Twitter account of Fortnite and just like every first teaser, the new one does not tell us much apart from giving us notions that the next season might be sci-fi or futuristic.

The image shows a character which looks like a tamed, friendly version of Cayde-6 with nothing in the background apart from Fortnite Season 9 written on one side. The caption of the teaser states ‘The Future is Unknown’ which indeed leaves us to believe that the theme of the next season is future so we can expect some cool high-tech, futuristic items, and map changes.

The latest in-game event has seen the Volcano finally erupting leaving Tilted Towers and Retail Row in ruins which means that the new season will bring fresh changes to both these locations. We were hearing about the destruction of the Tilted Towers ever since the sighting of the meteor in the sky in Fortnite but it seems like the fate of Tilted Towers was tied to the volcano.

With the first teaser for Season 9 out, we can expect more teasers to land in the coming days before the season is officially released in a couple of days. Season 8 is currently about to end so if you are still missing some challenges to complete in the game, time is running out. Season 8 Overtime Challenges are also now live in Fortnite offering massive XP rewards.
