Red Candle Games has announced the release date for its first-person horror game; Devotion, as it is set to release on 13 February, 2019 for PC via Steam. The game was previously teased last year in July as it was in development for PC.
Devotion is first-person 3D psychological horror game, that combines immersive and atmospheric exploration with a some puzzle solving features in the gameplay. The game is set in the 1980’s Taiwan, where it is accompanied by the Taiwanese lifestyle and folk culture.
You will play as Amanda, a girl whose father owned the hotel before disappearing mysteriously five years ago. In agony, she remained through all these years, wondering if he was still in the land of the living. It all changes when she receives a letter from her gather, urging her to meet him in the old hotel. as she clings to the hope of reuniting with her father, you must guide her to the abandoned hotel, and uncover mysterious behind the disappearance of her dad.

Red Candle Games comments on the game by saying, “While Team members each has their own creative perspectives, they all share the same emotions and feelings towards the land they call home. By utilizing the medium of gaming, they hope to tell a story that happens around the place we are all familiar with – home.”

As mentioned before, Devotion is releasing for Pc through Steam. There is no word about a console port, however the developers previous game; Detention came out to both the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 after the initial launch of the game. This suggests the possibility that Devotion main see a console release sometime in this year.
