Developer Gentlymad Studios and publisher Assemble Entertainment have announced the release of the first Early Access update for Endzone 2. The new update brings significant improvements, including refinements to the user interface, bug fixes, and various quality-of-life updates designed to streamline gameplay. These changes mark an important step forward for the game as it sets the stage for more substantial developments in the future.
Among the notable changes, you can look forward to an even more immersive experience in the coming months. A key feature of the October update, titled “Let There Be Light,” will be the introduction of electricity generation, transforming the game’s mechanics and strategies. Endzone 2 allows you to navigate a post-apocalyptic world fraught with danger and unpredictability. The game offers a dynamic experience where survival depends on strategic decision-making. You can now start your journey by directly controlling your settlement bus, choosing a unique starting location, and then venturing into hazardous badlands to explore ruins, discover hidden loot, and embark on challenging missions. As they explore habitable zones, they can build multiple settlements, each with its unique resources and challenges.
The development team has also opened up a feedback survey, encouraging you to share your thoughts and suggestions. If you have been playing the game and want to share what you like about the game or what you dislike about it, you can do so through this form. The developer is open to suggestions, feedback, and anything else that you may want to share with them.
The game also provides an in-depth settlement management system, where you can research technologies, optimize production lines, and establish trade routes essential for long-term survival. With the game currently in its early access phase, you can expect it to expand further with more updates planned for the future.
Endzone 2 is currently available on PC via Steam and GOG in Early Access and so far it has received one major update since its release back in August 2024. If you are interested in trying it out and supporting the developers with your feedback as they finalize the full version of the game, you can head over to its official Steam page to either jump into the game or add it to your wishlist. A soundtrack for the game is also currently available.
