Sega Europe Limited, Feral Interactive, and The Creative Assemble announce Total War: Medieval II for mobile devices, where players will be able to download and play the game on iOS and Android devices.
The game is planned for a launch this Spring 2022, but a release date has not been confirmed as of yet.
Check out the trailer below:
The game is built on the outstanding success of Rome: Total War on mobile. Total War: Medieval II will offer even greater depth and replayability than the previous game. In addition to the familiar, compelling mix of massive real-time battles and intricate turn-based strategy, the game will also bring more nuanced settlement management, additional agents to conduct state affairs, and more sophisticated campaign mechanics.
As for the plot, the game is set across three continents during the turbulent times of the Middle Ages, where spectacular conflicts and scheming rivals littler the path to power as the great kingdoms of the medieval world vie for supremacy. Be it through diplomacy or conquest, benevolence or fear, players must secure the resources and loyalty to ruling an empire from the shores of Western Europe to the sands of the Arabian desert.
Like previous releases from Feral in the mobile genre, Total War: Medieval II will be a full game without any compromises and will include many refinements to a bespoke touch control system that first debuted in Rome. The improvements are said to further facilitate players’ mastery of tactics and command as they maneuver thousands of on-screen units in their quest to conquer the mobile battlefield.
