Expeditions: A MudRunner Game Rolls Out Season 2: White Dawn

Developer Saber Interactive and publisher Focus Entertainment have announced the launch of Expeditions: A MudRunner Game Season 2: White Dawn. The new season transports you to the snow-covered Carpathians, offering fresh terrain, powerful vehicles, and new specialists for Year Pass holders. If you do not own the Year Pass, there is still something new for you as you can access free features, including a wheeled drone and the much-anticipated replayability system. To celebrate the update, the game is available for free on Steam during a special Free Weekend event, running until March 3.

After braving the scorching Arizona heat in Season 1, you will now face the harsh winter conditions of the Carpathian mountains. This new environment introduces rugged rock corridors and dangerous caverns, testing even the most seasoned off-roaders. Navigating through the snow requires skill and precision as you encounter the most treacherous landscapes yet.

Season 2 also expands the vehicle lineup with three new machines. Leading the pack is the Mercedes Unimog 2450, known for its exceptional versatility and off-road capabilities. Joining it are the Decin S-3T and Traun BR-0D, two six-wheeled vehicles built to transport heavy cargo across the toughest conditions. You can also recruit two new specialists to your team: a Hydrologist, who measures snow depth, and a Logistician, who enhances drone performance—both offering crucial support in the unforgiving new biome.

Also, as part of the free content, you will receive the new Cargo Drone (CR-G0), a wheeled delivery unit that allows you to transport supplies to hard-to-reach areas. New modules like the Generator convert fuel into electricity, while the Signal Amplifier extends drone range, providing vital upgrades for challenging missions. The much-awaited replayability feature is also part of the free content update, which offers a variety of challenges to complete in return for badges and cosmetic rewards. This system encourages you to revisit expeditions and tackle new objectives, enhancing the game’s long-term appeal.

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game Season 2: White Dawn is now available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, with a Nintendo Switch release slated for March 4.
