THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2023

THQ Nordic held its Digital Showcase 2023 last weekend, and it was full of surprises with some classic franchises coming back to life as well. This year is looking solid for games and THQ Nordic is gearing up to make it even better with some really cool releases as well. During the show, we got to see some really good titles including Titan Quest II, Gothic Remake, and Trine 5: a Clockwork Conspiracy among many others, and we also got our first detailed look at the upcoming Alone in the Dark title. So, without further ado, let’s jump into it:

Titan Quest II

THQ Nordic is reviving its long-lost ARPG Titan Quest with the latest title Titan Quest II. In it, players will be immersed in the mythological realm of ancient Greece as they face unimaginable challenges while striving for loot, and combining different masteries to create unique, powerful character builds. The ultimate goal in the game is to stop Nemesis, the Goddess of Retribution herself as she weaves malevolence into the Threads of Fate itself.

The development of Titan Quest II is in full swing at Grimlore Games in Germany, and it is slated for a PC release only at this point. Additional details about the game will be announced later. Gothic Remake

The Gothic Remake is currently in development and is slated for release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Set in the Valley of Mines, you will follow the journey of a charismatic scoundrel as they navigate the city, observe the locals and witness the thrill of arena battles. South Park: Snow Day!

South Park Digital Studios, THQ Nordic, and Question Games have announced SOUTH PATH: SNOW DAY! It is a 4-player co-op title in 3D where you will join Cartman, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny in a three-dimensional adventure to celebrate the most magical day in any young child’s life – a snow day. You will be able to grab three of your friends and battle your way through the snow-piled streets of South Park on a quest to save the world and enjoy a day without school.

SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY! is slated for a 2024 release on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. You can check out the teaser trailer for it below:

Outcast – A New Beginning

THQ Nordic also released the latest trailer for Outcast – A New Beginning which takes you on a fantastic journey with the Ulukai, the name given to Cutter Slade by the Talans. He is the chosen one destined to reunite the people of Adelpha and liberate them from the invaders. You will also get to discover how all living things on Adelpha coexist in harmony and learn how to forge alliances and gain powerful abilities. Space for Sale

Space for Sale is set on a mysterious planet far, far away, and is home to strange wildlife and weird creatures. You step onto the planet as an intergalactic property developer and your mission is to construct habitats for eccentric alien clients and sell them for a sweet profit. Developed by Mirage Game Studios in Sweden Space for Sale is currently only slated for a PC release.

Closed beta test signups for Space for Sale are now live and if you are interested in trying out the game when it comes out, you can add it to your wishlist as well.

Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy

Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy is the upcoming co-op puzzle platformer where you can join with up to three friends to experience a unique experience. If you prefer, you can also play solo and switch between the multiple playable characters to use their unique skills and progress in the game. Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy will feature Amadeus the Wizard, Zoya the Thief, and Pontius the Knight who come with their unique skills and conquer the challenge.

Pre-orders for Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy are now live, and you can get a 20% discount if you purchase it before its launch later this month on August 31, 2023. It is slated for release on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Xbox, and PlayStation. Check out the latest trailer for the game below:

Alone in the Dark

During the showcase, the two stars of the upcoming Alone in the Dark shared some words on the upcoming title. Jodie Comer is playing Emily Hartwood whereas David Harbour is playing Edward Carnby. Pre-orders for Alone in the Dark is now live on Xbox and PS5 as well and you can also download and try out a free prologue of the game right now on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. It is also getting a really cool Collector’s Edition and previously teased the Dark Man. Check out the two new trailers for Alone in the Dark below:

Last Train Home

In Last Train Home, you will witness the incredible survival journey of Czechoslovak legion and catch the world premiere of the first gameplay trailer for Last Train Home. Last Train Home is inspired by real historical events and is slated for a PC release in 2023. You can add the game to Steam wishlist right now and also check out the latest trailer below:

Tempest Rising

Developer 3D Realm has released a trailer for their brand-new RTS game Tempest Rising and the trailer offers us a sneak peek into the intense and action-packed gameplay that you can expect from the game when it comes out. A playable demo of the game is available currently on Steam where you can try out the game until August 28, 2023. Wreckreation

THQ Nordic has also shared the latest trailer for their upcoming title Wreckreation which showcases a custom racing track created in the game. The custom track shows how powerful the game’s engine is and the level of freedom it offers to players who want to create their very own tracks by letting their imaginations go wild. Check it out in the trailer below and also add the game to your wishlist.

Way of the Hunter: The Tikamoon Plains DLC

THQ Nordic also shared the trailer for the latest DLC Tikamoon Plains for Way of the Hunter which showcases the newest map addition in its eccentric detail. The new map brings a vast, uncharted landscape which you can explore and hunt down an array of fresh animals not present in the game previously. It brings new gameplay enhancements including expanded difficulty options and an arsenal of new weapons.

The Tikamoon Plains DLC is now available for Way of the Hunter on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S and you will need the base game to access the DLC as well. If you own the Season Pass, you will gain access to both the Tikamoon Plains DLC as well as the previously released Aurora Shores DLC. Check out the launch trailer for the DLC below:

TMNT: The Last Ronin

TMNT: The Last Ronin is set in a future battle-ravaged New York City and a lone surviving turtle embarks on a seemingly hopeless mission seeking justice for the family he lost. TMNT: The Last Ronin comes from the minds of the creators of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and is based on the best-selling comic book event by Eastman, Waltz, Bishop, Delgado, and the Escorza. This is the official video game adaptation of TMNT: The Last Ronin. It will be released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Additional details will be announced later. THQ Nordic Publisher Sale

THQ Nordic has announced that it is celebrating the new news and announcements with a week-long publisher sale across its entire line-up on PC via Steam. The sale will remain live until August 17, 2023, and dozens of THQ Nordic titles are heavily discounted for this duration. You can check out the official Publisher Sale page over at Steam.
