In this guide, we will show you how to earn money fast in Days Gone. Money, or otherwise known as Credits in Days Gone, is specific to Camps. Farming these camp credits can be tough, and you need to collect these if you want to buy the bike and weapon parts.
Something to keep in mind is that each camp has its own credit tally. For example, if you have 6,000 Credits in Tucker’s Camp at the Hot Springs, it doesn’t mean you will have the same amount in some other camp like Copeland’s camp. Once you enter a new region, you will have to earn the credits all over again if you want to buy any item from that particular camp.
Credits Farming Guide – Days Gone
Below are methods that can give you the most Credits fast:
Complete Camp Missions
The best way, which is also the most obvious way, is to complete camp-specific tasks. These missions give out large amounts of Credits. Occasionally, the camp leaders will radio in a job for you that you should complete for Credits.
The camp missions are relatively short and require you to clear out a raider camp, kill a specific target, and investigate an area. Completing these will not only give you large amounts of Credits but also increase the Trust for that camp.
Gathering Resources for Camps
Other than completing the camp-specific tasks or missions, you can also earn Credits by gathering resources and bringing them back to a camp. Items can include animals for meat or plants that can be found scattered all over the place.
Hunt the animals for meat, and look around for plants that can be used for crafting various items. These items can be turned in for Trust and Credits. Unlocking the foraging skill from the skill menu to earn more resources when gathering plants, thus giving you more Credits.
Turning in Bounties
This may not be the best way, but it does earn you some Credits in the game. When you hunt a Freaker, you will receive an ‘ear’ item. You can turn these in at the Bounty vendors that are found in the camps. This will increase your Trust and also give you Credits in return.
In this matter, Freakers are only good for this. You can also run over multiple of them with your bike. Once they are killed, you can pick up the ears even while riding.
