AMD Ryzen 3750H, Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti Powered ASUS TUF Notebook Spotted

The ASUS TUF is much reasonable in pricing compared to the other products that the company has to offer and it seems that the company is going to pair Nvidia graphics with AMD processors. A new ASUS TUF FX505DU gaming laptop has been spotted and according to the leaks it will be powered by the AMD Ryzen 3750H and Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti.

Listings suggest that the  ASUS ROG GU502DU will also have a similar combination but you can expect the laptop to come with better graphics and a higher price tag. The Ryzen 7 3750H CPU comes with 4 cores and 8 threads which is ideal for gaming and is quickly become the standard for mobile CPUs.

The Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti will have a Max-Q design which means that while the GPU will consume less power it is going to provide similar performance to the desktop counterpart. This is impressive performance indeed and I think that this model is going to be particularly popular. You can check out the leaked specifications below:

The design is expected to be similar to other TUF models and this is going to be a great laptop for mid-range buyers. The GTX 1660 Ti provides impressive performance when it comes to 1080p performance and can run pretty much any game at 1080p 60 FPS.

Interestingly the AMD Ryzen chip already has integrated graphics and they are pretty impressive. This means that when you are using programs that are not too graphics intensive then the Turing graphics card does not need to be turned on at all. This is going to come in handy when it comes to extending the battery life of your device.

AMD has announced that its chips are not affected by the new spoiler vulnerability that is plaguing Intel CPUs. The company has already released the RX 560XT graphics card. Intel graphics boss recently talked about why he left AMD in order to join Intel.

Let us know what you think about ASUS pairing AMD CPUs with Nvidia graphics for upcoming gaming laptops and whether or not you would be interested in getting one for yourself.
