Merge Games has announced that it is bringing back to life the platforming legend Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX. It has been nearly three decades since its release on the Master System back in 1986, and now the Sega platforming classic is coming back to life on modern consoles with the help of the developer Jankenteam.
Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX will not only include all of the original content and levels featured in the original game but it will also feature striking art, improved boss fight systems, and different modes for the very first time. The developer will also add extra levels to the game which will further expand the lore of the title and will introduce a fresh dimension to this brilliant platformer.
Players will be able to experience the game in its very original form with the Retro Mode which will feature the very same game from the Master System. A new mode Boss Rush will be added to the game as well which will allow players to fight all of the bosses in a single go. There will be plenty of extra content in the game that will certainly keep you busy for a long time. Gameplay, combat, and menu systems will all feature new and improved mechanics.
