astragon Entertainment has revealed a new Police Simulator game during the Future Games Show, introducing a new entry in its police simulation series with a focus on more detailed visuals, vehicle behavior, traffic systems, and police equipment. The game is being developed by Slovakia-based GRIP Studios and is scheduled to launch on PC and consoles in 2027.
The game moves the series to Faremont City, a fictional metropolis inspired by the US East Coast. The city is divided into three districts, with each containing up to five neighborhoods. Players will take on the role of police officers responsible for handling a broad range of incidents and maintaining law and order across the city.
More than 50 missions and callouts will be available, covering incidents ranging from parking violations to drug offenses and robberies. Players will unlock additional districts, vehicles, and equipment as they progress through their careers, while character customization will allow them to personalize their officers.
One of the major additions is K-9 gameplay. Players can bring a police dog along during their duties, adding a four-legged companion to the series for the first time. The game will also introduce a more detailed approach to firearms and stun guns, with their use governed by an escalation protocol rather than functioning simply as additional combat tools.
Players can patrol Faremont City on foot or use a selection of police vehicles, including SUVs and faster patrol cars. The developer is also promising more sophisticated driving physics and AI-controlled traffic, including public transportation, to make the city’s roads feel more active.
Co-op will return as another major feature, with two-player multiplayer and cross-play support. Players can work alongside a human partner while responding to incidents and completing their duties across the city.
The new Police Simulator is being developed using Unreal Engine 5 by the same studio that previously worked with astragon Entertainment on Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator. The game will be released on PC via Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2027.
