Publisher astragon Entertainment and developer Aesir Interactive have announced the release of the 12th update called Tackling Update for Police Simulator: Patrol Officers. This update also arrives with two brand-new vehicle DLC packs which will further increase your police vehicle range with new feature-rich vehicles. The new Tackling Update now allows you to tackle running criminals and catch them before they can run away while the new DLC vehicles include the Guardian Police van for transporting suspects and the Surveillance Police Vehicle which is great for monitoring vehicles and suspicious people.

As you can judge by the update’s name, the new update allows you to tackle fleeing enemies and catch them before they can get away. Tackling is a much more effective way of capturing fleeing suspects because it ensures that they cannot escape your clutches. To aid in this, the new mini-map is also now visible in your UI while on foot which will allow you to target and tackle the right people of interest during foot patrols. Once you get hold of your suspects, you can take them to your spanking new Guardian Police Vehicle which can hold six suspects at the same time and grants you a bonus of 10 additional Shift Points for each suspect that you bring to the station.
The second DLC to arrive in the game is the Surveillance Police Vehicle which is used to follow suspicious vehicles and give the drivers intuition feedback. If a crime is noticed, the vehicle is pulled over and you can investigate further.
Both the Guardian Police Vehicle and the Surveillance Police Vehicle DLC are worth $2.99 and if you are interested in them, you can purchase them to expand your police fleet.
