Premium collectible gaming brand CRKD has officially revealed its brand-new ULT PRO wireless gaming controller with multi-platform connectivity and state-of-the-art technology. CRKD is known for creating Nitro Deck and many other premium rhythm gaming products. Its new controller is here to dominate the controller market, as it comes absolutely loaded with features.
Whether you play games competitively or casually, chances are that you may own a controller or two in your house. Most of the controllers are designed for use with either an Xbox and PC, or a PlayStation and a PC. The same applies to a Nintendo Switch controller as well. CRKD’s new ULT PRO controller switches it up by offering a single controller that can connect with a Nintendo Switch 2 and 1, along with PC, mobile devices, tablets, and Smart TVs at the same time.
CRKD ULT PRO Gaming Controller Comes Loaded with Features and a Decent Price Tag
ULT PRO is engineered with TMR Thumbsticks, which means Tunneling Magnetoresistance, and this technology is designed to eliminate stick drift. This means that this controller will never experience stick drift in its life. It is also superior to traditional mechanical thumbsticks or Hall Effect sensors when it comes to precision. It also features six additional remappable inputs, adjustable trigger travel, swappable components, and advanced configuration through the CRKD Companion App.
It can be used in both wireless and wired modes. In wireless modes, the controller uses 2.4Ghz wireless frequency via the included dongle. In wired mode, players can use a USB-C wire, which offers a 1000Hz polling rate on both PC and Nintendo Switch. This ensures ultra-responsive input times with minimal latency. The controller is also fully customizable, with the ability for players to remap any button on the controller in-game or through the CRKD companion App.
Four rear back buttons and two additional shoulder buttons allow further customization based on player needs. Depending on the game, players can switch between a short, tactile bump or a longer-travel trigger feel, thanks to an ingenious trigger toggle system. Each trigger can be adjusted independently. The triggers come equipped with Hall Effect sensors to allow players to fine-tune actuation sensitivity. This ensures greater control over the speed at which each trigger responds.
On the Nintendo Switch, the triggers function as digital inputs, but on the PC, they operate as analog triggers. Additionally, players can quickly switch between different control setups depending on the game they are currently playing. This is possible through the CRKD Companion App or by special buttons on the controller itself. If they prefer to change the controller even further, swappable stick tops and swappable D-pads are sold separately as well.
An adjustable rumble with a wide dynamic range ensures that players are experiencing every hit and bump in a different intensity. No Deadzone Mode offers increased stick precision, while a built-in Turbo feature can make repetitive input much easier. To choose their desired platform, an on-board slider can change their connected device instantly.
Powering the controller is an integrated rechargeable battery, and a charging dock is included with the controller, along with a charging cable and a high-speed wireless dongle. If you prefer, you can also use AA batteries with the controller. Additional battery packs can be purchased separately and placed inside a hidden compartment inside the charging dock, which ensures that a secondary battery is charged up and ready for use while you are using the primary battery pack.
