Yupitergrad Slated for PS VR, Oculus Quest Release after Successful Debut on PC

After a successful launch on PC VR, the developer behind Yupitergrad, Gamedust, has announced a PS VR and Oculus Quest release for January 2021 as well. Along with new platforms, the game is also getting new controls update and new content such as a new Time Attack mode with new levels, a new soundtrack, and leaderboards.

The developer has also teased an additional mode that will be coming to Yupitergrad at a later stage. Further details will be announced at a later stage. The new Custom Controls update will allow players more freedom with the game’s controls. The following features will be added in the new update:

  • Turn on smooth rotation and choose the speed of it;
  • Turn off the rotation and play without it;
  • Or play with classic snap rotation;
  • Also for better gameplay customization, you can now calibrate the grappling hooks in both the Y and X-axis

Apart from the custom controls, the update will also bring a free Time Attack mode with the following features:

  • Race against time on a new playlist of arcade levels (some revamped from the campaign and some designed from the scratch);
  • Leaderboards to compare your scores with other players;
  • New energetic music tracks;
  • New lobby to compare your scores and chill.

Yupitergrad features the story of a Slavic cosmonaut who went on a mission wearing his space tracksuit with three stripes of quality. Your task was really simple which included you landing on the Jupiter base, test a new device, launch the experiment to produce fuel and then return home after completing all the tasks in your space shuttle however nothing goes according to the plan.

Yupitergrad is currently available on PC via HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Valve Index however PS VR and Oculus Quest will be joining the list of platforms in January 2021. The new platforms will receive the game along with all updates and patches released to date including the new Time Attack Mode.
