Everything Announced at Xbox Games Showcase – July 2020

Xbox Games Showcase

Microsoft and Xbox Games Studios just held the highly-anticipated Xbox Games Showcase during which we got to see tons of new games coming out on Xbox Series X. Previously, Xbox Game Studios held another event but that was not up to par and we got to see very little action however this time around, we got to see plenty of new and amazing titles revealed including our first-ever look at the new Halo Infinite gameplay and story trailer. Below, we’ve got tons of announcements and reveals from today’s Xbox Games Showcase stream so without further ado, let’s jump right into it.

Halo Infinite World Premier

Xbox Game Studios started the show pretty strong with our first-ever look at Halo Infinite and we got to see its campaign gameplay as well. The game looks amazing and it will make full use of Xbox Series X. It is slated for release in Holiday 2020. Check out the new trailers below:

State of Decay 3

State of Decay 3 is happening and Xbox Game Studios revealed the brand new title. We did not see much at this point however we did a short trailer. Check it out below:

Forza Motorsport

Turn10 is currently working on the next Forza Motorsport game and it is simply called Forza Motorsport. There was no gameplay trailer but we did get to see all-engine footage of the game in action. Check it out below:

Everwild

Rare revealed its brand new IP Everwild which is a unique and unforgettable experience set in a natural and magical world. Check it out below:

Tell Me Why

DONTNOD Entertainment revealed their brand new narrative experience Tell Me Why and its Chapter One which will arrive first. The game features twins Alyson and Tyler as they use their special bond to unravel mysteries of their loving but troubled childhood. Check it out below:

Ori and the Will of the Wisps – Xbox Series X Release

Moon Studios announced that a special version of Ori and the Will of the Wisps will release on Xbox Series X that will feature 4K visuals and will run at 120fps. Check out its trailer below:

The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon

Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division revealed The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon which is slated for release on Xbox One and PC on September 9, 2020. Check it out below:

Grounded

Obsidian Entertainment shared a brand new Official Launch Trailer of their upcoming survival title Grounded. Grounded is releasing on Xbox Game Preview on July 28, 2020. Check out the launch trailer below:

Avowed

The third announcement by Obsidian Entertainment was their brand new RPG that the developer is currently working on, was Avowed. Avowed is a first-person RPG set in a fantasy world of Eora. Check out its announcement trailer below:

As Dusk Falls

As Dusk Falls is a brand new title by a relatively new studio INTERIOR/NIGHT. It is an original interactive drama that explores the entangled lives of two families across thirty years. Your choices will play a major role in the story of the game. Check out its announcement trailer below:

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2

We got a new announcement for the sequel of Hellblade. Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is set on a new Icelandic setting. Ninja Theory also released a developer diary for the game, where you can see the team travel to the incredible landscapes of Iceland, where the sequel is set.

Psychonauts 2

We got another exciting announcement, and this time it comes from the studios of Double Fine Productions. Psychonauts 2 has been announced where Raz takes a journey through the mind of a mystery brain he found in a jar. The game will be available to play on day one with Xbox Game Pass. Destiny 2: Beyond Light

A totally new title was revealed and it is called The Gunk. From the creators of SteamWorld, embark on an all-new adventure in a vast and alien world where you’ll encounter terrifying enemies and challenging puzzles on your quest to unravel the mystery of a forgotten planet, while saving it in the process

The Medium

This is the next-gen psychological horror game that is making its way to Xbox Series X. According to the developers, it is featuring never-seen-before and officially patented Dual-Reality Gameplay that plays out across two worlds displayed at the same time.

CrossfireX

We got a new campaign reveal trailer for CrossfireX, where a sprawling global conflict rages between the Global Risk and Black List mercenary factions in an immersive and cinematic single-player experience from Smilegate Entertainment and Remedy.

Fable

A return of the legendary franchise in what seems to be ages. Fable returns with a new beginning, where you get to explore a land of fantastical creatures and wondrous places. The game is developed by Playground Games for Xbox Series X and Windows 10.
