The new game mode is the main competitive mode of WRC Generations. Divided into two categories: solo and team. You can rank in both modes simultaneously. In the solo category, the ranking of a player will be determined by the points obtained individually, while the addition of the points obtained in each player will determine the positioning of the team.

The goal of the cross-platform feature is to obtain the best rank in different leagues:

  • Legend (top league)
  • Champion
  • Professional
  • Rookie
  • Junior
  • Beginner (unranked or players demoted from Junior 3)

Each league is then subdivided into three tiers, where these tiers are divided into groups of players or teams, for competition on a direct scale.

As for the seasons, they are divided into weeks, which includes a qualification phase that runs for a week, followed by ten weeks of competition that contains daily and weekly events that you can participate in, and climb up in group ranking. As each week ends, it concludes with a re-ranking during which the positions of teams or players will be adjusted according to their performance.

Moving on to events, there are three attempts given to players to best their time, plus a warm-up mode to train on special stages. However, events in single-player compared to the team modes will be different. The daily events will be scenario conditions rallies for example different weather, car, etc.

Weekly events will be a complete rally, that can be completed in several game sessions. You can choose a car within a specific category and then participate in the event.at the end of each week, the points obtained are added to the group ranking.

The first official season begins this month on November 28, 2022. After the end of the season, the top three teams and players will then be added to the Leagues Hall of fame.
