WRC 8 Races Across PC and Consoles Today with a New Launch Trailer

WRC 8 Launch

Bigben and KT Racing have announced that their brand new racing title WRC 8 is now available on consoles and PC. To celebrate the release, the developers have also released a brand new launch trailer for the WRC 8 as well. WRC 8 is the latest title in the long running WRC franchise and it is the official video game of FIA World Rally Championship.

WRC 8 returns this year after a break and it has a very strong focus on simulation and puts the player directly into the heart of intense and technical rallies. The game features the most realistic vehicle physics and terrain difference ever seen in a WRC game and goes really well with the addition of dynamic weather and time conditions for each country in the game.

It features 52 world rally teams, over 100 special stages across 14 countries and a large roster of some of the most powerful rally cars both from the modern times as well as from the earlier eras of WRC. The Career Mode is brand new and has been built from scratch for WRC 8 which gives players a highly detailed environment to build their own racing team and eventually their very own rally legend as they continue to win rally after rally.

KT Racing has been working on WRC 8 alongside engineers and mechanics from official teams while top eSports players and official WRC drivers have also helped the developers in the development of the game. This is the very reason why WRC 8 is deemed the best WRC game in the franchise by us. Make sure that you read our review of WRC 8 and find out why.

eSports is also very strong in the heart of the WRC 8 experience. The 9 World Finalists of the 2019 eSports WRC powered by Hyundai have now qualified and they will face against each other on WRC 8 in early October during the Wales Rally GB. It will be a two-day event in the WRC Service Park in LLandudno. The winner of the series will be rewarded with a brand new Hyundai i20.

The PC version of WRC 8 is exclusively on Epic Games Store where players will be able to see and compete against the ghosts of any player on the leaderboard. Additional online features will be added to the PC version in October which will include the ability to face your friends in real-time directly on stage. Make sure to check out the previously released Legendary Rally Cars Trailer for WRC 8 as well.

WRC 8 is now available on PC via Epic Games Store, PS4 and Xbox One. A Nintendo Switch version will be released later in November.
