Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader Warhammer Switch 2 DLC

Developer and publisher Owlcat Games has released a major update for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, addressing many of the issues reported since its launch. As an apology to players, the studio is also making all paid DLC for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader free for Switch 2 owners of the game.

The update improves the game’s visuals and performance while fixing numerous bugs that affected the Switch 2 release when it launched in December 2025. According to Owlcat Games, the team spent the past several months optimizing the port after receiving player feedback about its stability and overall quality.

To make up for the rocky launch, Switch 2 players can now claim all additional content at no extra cost. This includes the Deluxe Edition bonuses, the already released Void Shadows and Lex Imperialis expansions, as well as the third and fourth story DLCs when they launch in the future.

Warhammer Rogue Trader Switch 2 DLC

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is a story-driven RPG set in the grimdark universe of Warhammer 40,000. Players take on the role of a Rogue Trader, commanding a massive voidship while exploring the fringes of Imperial space. Throughout the adventure, choices influence the story, companions, and entire star systems, allowing players to shape their own path through the Imperium.

The RPG has proven to be one of Owlcat Games’ biggest successes, with the studio confirming that Rogue Trader has now sold more than two million copies across all platforms. Despite it being a great game, the Nintendo Switch 2 launch suffered from different technical issues, which led to a choppy launch for the otherwise excellent adaptation.
