Warframe Release Date announced for Nintendo Switch


Warframe, a free to play game which is the most popular free game on PC, is set to arrive for the Nintendo Switch on November 20. The game has a community of 38 million worldwide players and it will grow further when it will come for the Switch.

The game is a Sci-Fi shooter where groups of up o four players can carry out mission to defend an alternative future of our own solar system. Is is most notable for having a fast parkour paced game, well crafter combat, and variety of playstyles.

They were called Tenno. Warriors of blade and gun – Masters of the Warframe armor. Those that survived the Old War were left drifting among the ruins. Now they are needed once more.

The Grineer, with their vast armies, are spreading throughout the solar system. A call echoes across the stars summoning the Tenno to an ancient place. They summon you.

Come Tenno, you must join the war.

The game is being developed by Panic Button for the Nintendo Switch version, and is well known for developing many popular games like Wolfenstein: The New Colossus and Rocket League for the Nintendo Switch.


The space ninja type action game was first released in 2013 for PC, and later came to Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The developer Digital Extremes has continued to improve and expand the game over the years and that has helped create a very dedicated fan base.

Warframe players on Xbox One and Playstation 4 should also expect a new update coming. Mask of the Revenant will become available as of today. The update adds a new Eidolo-inspired warframe called Revenant, who can convert enemies to fight on your side.

The update also brings Frame Fighter mini-games to the consoles. It is inspired by classic fighting games and allows you to use special abilities from each of the warframes.
