Bohemia Interactive has announced that they are holding a Free Weekend for their new free-to-play game Vigor. Vigor is an Xbox One exclusive game in which players will jump into post-war Norway and explore the game for free. The Free Weekend for Vigor starts on August 8 and will last until August 11, 2019.
Vigor is currently out on Xbox One in Game Preview and so far has seen over 550,000 players exploring its deadly but beautiful Outlands. Vigor is set in a Norway which has recently survived a nuclear war and entire Europe now lies devastated. The only place worth living in entire Europe is Norway which means that everyone must stand for themselves if they want to survive.
Players step in the shoes of a nameless Outlander and begin their quest of survival. They must decide their path and fate which depends on their actions and how they move forward. Players can become killers and shoot their way out or stay in the shadows and live the life of a stealthy assassin. One thing remains the same for both, they must loot and gather resources to survive.

Players will have the option to build their own shelter and store their resources and supplies in it. Explore different areas including mountain caves, ruins and destroyed structures for supplies and anything that will help you survive. According to the official press release, key features of Vigor include:
- SHOOT your way out of encounters for 8–12 players.
- LOOT precious resources and valuable items.
- BUILD your shelter and vital equipment.
- BECOME the courageous Outlander in post-war Norway.

Vigor is slated to release in its full form in Summer 2019 and it will be a free-to-play title for everyone. If players want to join in the action now, they can do so by purchasing the Founder’s Pack for $19.99 by heading over to the official site of the game.
