Luke Kotin, Globochem eSports said:
The upcoming VAIL Summer Tournament will be very special and marks the return of high stakes VR Esports LAN events. I am incredibly excited to introduce VR Esports to a wider audience and this event will mark the beginning of an incredible partnership between IVRL and AEXLAB. There is no other game developer pushing VR Esports like AEXLAB and VAIL VR. Many of us saw the potential of VR Esports early on but until now we have not had a developer who shared that vision. We have found that with AEXLAB and are incredibly excited to see this blow-up!
VAIL VR offers two different game modes Team Deathmatch and Artifact. Team Deathmatch is the classic mode where two teams of five players each fight each other and in the end, the team with the most kills is the winner. VAIL VR’s signature game mode in Artifact where attackers spawn with a scanner that can extract the hidden data within designated locations called Artifact sites whereas the Defenders defend these locations and must secure the Artifact.
VAIL VR also brings full-body animation which accounts for the approximation of each player’s real body without the need for additional tracking hardware. This is an ultra-realistic first-person shooter with beautiful visuals which is made with eSports in mind and comes with an in-game voice chat system for real-time communication between players as well.
If you are interested in playing VAIL VR, you can head over to the Steam page of the game and sign up there. For additional details on the eSports Tournament, you can check out the official webpage the tournament. Additional details about the tournament will be shared in the upcoming days.
