Publisher Modus Games and developer Fozenbyte have announced a brand new story DLC Trine 4: Melody of Mystery for Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince. The new DLC campaign will first arrive on PC this month and then later on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One in spring 2021. The PC version will release through Steam, EA Origin, GOG, and Humble Store.

In Trine 4: Melody of Mysteries, the story will take the trio of heroes back to the Astral Academy to investigate an enchanted slumber that has enveloped the academy’s students. While their investigation, the trio accidentally frees a spirit who is now on the loose. The DLC campaign will bring 6 new levels with new puzzles. These will allow you to master upgraded abilities. The new puzzles will incorporate new elements such as ice, torches, magnets, and crystals.

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince is the fourth installment in the Trine franchise and returns the classic side-scrolling platforming series to its roots. The game smartly shifts its puzzle design according to the number of players currently playing the game. It offers both solo play and multiplayer with up to four heroes. Players combine the abilities of a wizard, a knight, and a thief in and out of combat in order to solve puzzles, explore beautiful locations and save the world from the troubled Nightmare Prince’s threats.

The new DLC campaign will offer a brand-new story in the same universe and will bring plenty of new features to the game as well as offering players even more reasons to jump back in the game.
