Nacon and Simteract Studio have just announced the latest Train Life: A Railway Simulator update which brings in a new locomotive: the Newag Griffin. This is the third update that has been brought to the game after its early access launch 8 months ago.
Simteract Studio has stated that they intend to add more content and new features to the game’s definitive launch, which is now scheduled for July 2022 on PC, followed by a console release later.
Watch the update trailer below:
The new official locomotive, the Newag Griffin is a series of vehicles that carry both passengers and goods at speeds of up to 200 km/h and was first produced in Poland in 2012.
The update also brings new ways for players to customize their trains, such as painting the outer bodywork in your company colors or adding various decorative items in the driver’s cab.
In addition to the train and customization options, there is a new region called the Alps, where you can track alongside the snow-capped mountains and climate control to add more realism to the game.
Train Life gives you the role of the head of a railway company. You have to develop your business to become the biggest rail company in Europe; hire drivers, buy new trains, and achieve your contractual goals.
Take your passengers through astonishingly beautiful lands, including both town and country, forest and mountains. There are also unforeseen situations to manage, such as fallen trees, stalled cars, and trains rolling on your track.
The content updates in the early access version of the game were announced by Nacon and Simteract, where they revealed that they intend to add more legendary trains, and ultimately, 10,000 km of track across Europe.
