Simteract Releases Train Life A Railway Simulator Roadmap

Nacon and Simteract celebrated the Early Access Launch of Train Life A Railway Simulator with a livestream that showed us an additional gameplay demo while also revealing the roadmap of the game until its final release.

Train Life A Railway Simulator is planned for release sometime in the first quarter of 2022. Check out the extracts from Simteract’s live stream by clicking the link here.

For the first time in railroad simulation, play as both the driver and company director! Take the controls of your locomotives and grow your railway empire by negotiating deals and developing your network.

The first detail we got is that the game will be getting new content regularly throughout the period of early access. This includes legendary trails and ultimately, 10,000 km of track across Europe. The detail and scope, along with the dynamic weather means that each voyage will be a unique experience for players.

Nacon also shared the Train Life A Railway Simulator roadmap screenshot that you can see below:

Train Life gives you the role of the head of a railway company. You have to develop your business to become the biggest rail company in Europe; hire drivers, buy new trains, and achieve your contractual goals. Both Nacon and Simterect have paid special attention to modeling the trains, ensuring the game is both fun and authentic.

In the Early Access version, you will get to drive through Germany, riding in the cab of several different locomotives. Each of these locomotives has its unique characteristics (power, braking, etc.) that you need to fully master to be as effective as possible. Take your passengers through astonishingly beautiful lands, including both town and country, forest and mountains. There are also unforeseen situations to manage, such as fallen trees, stalled cars, and trains rolling on your track.
